ORDER :

The following Notification will be published in the Tamilnadu Government
Gazette.

NOTIFICATION

Whereas the Industries manufacturing Boiler Auxiliaries for High Pressure
Boilers has been declared to be a public utility service for the purpose of the Industrial
Disputes Act, 1947(Central Act XIV of 1947), for a period of six months up to and
inclusive of the 20.9.2001 in the Labour and Employment Department Notification
No.II(2)/LE/287/2001 dated the 14.2.2001 published at page 139 of Part II-Section 2 of
the Tamilnadu Government Gazette, dated the 21.3.2001.

And whereas, the Governor of Tamilnadu is of opinion that public interest
requires the extension of the said period for a further period of six months;

Now, therefore, in exercise of powers conferred by sub-clause (vi) of clause (n) of
section 2 read with the proviso the period specified above for a further period of six
months commencing from the date of publication of the Notification in the Tamilnadu
Government Gazette.
