    What in particular about Yale has influenced your decision to apply?

    The infectious happiness and enthusiasm I encountered when I spoke to
    current Yalies, read and watched student reviews were what first drew me to
    Yale University. The residential college system seems perfect for fostering close
    relationships with professors and a group of students with diverse interests,
    ideologies and cultures who can enrich my learning beyond focused study. The
    academic ownership offered to students, exemplified by the unique shopping
    period at Yale, is wonderfully freeing. I am also extremely excited about the PSE
    and Molecular Biophysics and Biochemistry courses, which will give me the
    opportunity to explore various scientific fields in-depth to provide insights on
    scientific inquiry, and its impacts on the larger community.
