Internship proposal

I. Internship Proposed:
A) Selling following insurance products:
Childsurance
Incomesurance
Lifesurance
B) Research Project on:
Role of Information Technology in Insurance Sector
(Focussing on IDBI Federal Life Insurances)


II. Objective Of the Internship:
The objective of the internship is to try and approach clients
with
different investment requirements and to suggest them different insurance
policies to help them in making good financial decisions.
Other part of the internship is the research object, wherein
the aim is to study the role of information technology in insurance sector,
keeping in mind IDBI Federal Life insurances.


III. Action Plan:
For sales, the action plan would be to start with close
acquaintances
& to go ahead with the referrals of the people who have been approached for
discussing the policies.
For the research project, first the basic role of IT in Insurance
sector is to be studied and then further has to be explored to arrive at
suggestions and recommendations on how IDBI Federal Life Insurances can
harness Information Technology in order to get a competitive advantage over
other insurance players.
