1. Survey as a type of research: The survey is carried out to determine the segment of consumers
subscribing magazines and to determine the factors affecting customers perception opting the
magazine
2. Research Design: The methodology to be used would be a Descriptive Research Design
3. Data Type: The research is based on both Primary data as well as Secondary data. For collecting
the primary data the survey was done through questionnaire & For theoretical overview, secondary
data was collected from different websites and research papers.
4. Research Instrument: questionnaire, which was personally given to different people and was filled
through interacting with different age groups and occupation
5.Sampling Method: Convenient sampling is used as sampling method to gather as much
information as possible. Customers of the product were selected randomly which is very reliable to
know perception of the customer’s regarding the product and services and also this method of data
collection is very helpful in time and money saving.
6. Sample Size: The sample size was restricted to only 50, which comprised of mainly peoples from
different occupations.
