Busbars Fittings

Bus-bar fittings were developed by AZ construction bureau jointly with the Energoproject
institute for the purpose to introduce the progressive and hi-tech developments into power
system. All fittings produced by AZ group correspond to the specifications developed in
accordance with the development strategy of united power system. Technical
specifications were adjusted and registered.
Bus-bar fittings are also integrated into a complex type project of substations on the basis
of rigid bus-bar.
The rigid bus-bar fittings have designation AZ. There is adopted a simple sequentially
numbering of fittings in designation of armature. Armature with numbers up to 100 is used
for the rigid bus-bar, inasmuch as is in contact with round buses of bus-bar. The fittings
with numbers more than 100 are universal and intended to connect a branch of wires and
can be used regardless of the rigid bus-bar in the repair or construction of substations,
wherever is necessary to use newmodern types of connective substation reinforcement.
We invite all design organisations to cooperate. We are ready operatively develop new
type of rigid bus-bar fitting, also we are ready to share our experience, assist in design,
collectively resolve all issues related to the introduction of this advanced technology.
Rigid bus-bar fittings of substations included in this catalogue are intended for exploitation
in substations on the basis of rigid bus-bar and on traditional substations.

on the transfer of necessary power .

carries out function of vibration damper and reduces
corona discharge because of the reason that there is no
fieId tension inside the ring. Ring is attended with the

AZ fittings which are introduced in this section are universal and are intended to
connect or branch wires, also can be used irrespective of presence of rigid bus-bar
during substation repair works and everywhere, where is necessary application of new
modern types of connective substation reinforcement.
Most types of fitting have bolted connections. Such connections are justified in the
conditions of substations. nstallation is made easily and quickly and in most cases
cutting of wire and pressing works are not required.
Thermal control of stations made under regulation, always able to identify slack
contacts with any violations of work.
Lubricants are specially designed to reduce and stabilize the electrical resistance in
metal bolt, contact connections of rigid bus-bar and its connections with power
equipment. Lubrication allows reducing the electrical resistance to 100 times. Term of
stabilization of resistance in the presence of lubricant EPOS -250 is more than 10
years.
We invite all design organisations to cooperate. We are ready operatively develop
new type of rigid bus-bar fitting, also we are ready to share our experience, assist in
design, collectively resolve all issues related to the introduction of this advanced
technology.
