Preferred Region for Graduate Study, Examinees Who Tested in Europe
Table 21 shows that examinees who tested in Europe preferred a variety of regions in the United States,
including the Mid-Atlantic (32 percent), the West (31 percent) and New England (28 percent). Europe
(30 percent) was the most preferred region outside of the United States.

Although the majority of examinees took the GRE revised General Test within the United States, Table 22 shows that
examinees reported citizenship in more than 200 countries/regions around the world.
