DESCRIPTION
T h e m o d e l D K G -1 5 1 is a m ic ro p ro c e sso r

a u to m a tic a lly in th e o c c u rre n c e o f a n a la rm . T h e
a la rm s a re id e n tifie d b y a g ro u p o f L E D s

T h e u n it h a s ju m p e r se le c ta b le o p tio n s fo r th e

m a d e b y th e p o sitio n o f a sin g le ju m p e r situ a te d
a t th e le ft sid e p a n e l o f th e u n it.

A & B : A U X is P re h e a t o u tp u t
D & A : A U X is S to p o u tp u t.
I n th e OFF p o sitio n , th e D C su p p ly is re m o v e d
fro m th e m o d u le , th u s ze ro p o w e r c o n su m p tio n
is a c h ie v e d .
OPERATION
T h e u n it p o w e rs u p w h e n th e RUN p o sitio n o n
th e fro n t p a n e l is se le c te d . I f re q u ire d , th e
PREHEAT/STOP ( ) b u tto n m a y b e d e p re sse d
a s lo n g a s n e e d e d . T h is w ill a c tiv a te th e
AUXILIARY re la y o u tp u t a n d th e re la te d fro n t
p a n e l le d m a rk e d ( ).
T h e e n g in e is sta rte d u sin g th e p u sh b u tto n
m a rk e d CRANK (I). T h is w ill a lso e n e rg ize th e
fu e l so le n o id re la y . O n c e th e e n g in e is ru n n in g ,
th e sw itc h sh o u ld b e re le a se d . H o w e v e r th e
in te rn a l lo g ic in h ib its c ra n k in g w h e n th e e n g in e
fire s u p .
T h e a la rm c h e c k in g is o n ly e n a b le d a fte r th e
protection hold-off timer is e x p ire d . T h is tim e r
re se ts to 1 2 se c o n d s if:
-th e u n it is p o w e re d u p ,
-o r CRANK (I) b u tto n is p re sse d ,
-o r PREHEAT/STOP ( ) b u tto n is p re sse d ,
-o r th e e n g in e g e ts ru n n in g .


T h e o c c u rre n c e o f b e lo w fa u lt sig n a ls (w h ic h a re
c lo se o n fa u lt) w ill c a u se th e e n g in e to b e
sto p p e d im m e d ia te ly :
-Underspeed (engine stop),
-High engine temperature,
-Low oil pressure,
-Auxiliary shutdown.
I f a fa u lt c o n d itio n o c c u rs, th e FUEL so le n o id w ill
b e d e e n e rg ize d . I f th e a u x ilia ry re la y o u tp u t is se t
to Stop o p tio n , th e AUXILIARY re la y o u tp u t w ill
b e e n e rg ize d d u rin g sto p tim e o u t a n d th e le d
a sso c ia te d w ith th is c o n d itio n w ill tu rn o n . T o
re se t th e fa u lt c o n d itio n , tu rn th e sw itc h to th e
OFF p o sitio n fo r a fe w se c o n d s.
T h e Charge Fail in p u t is u se d to d e te c t th e
e n g in e ru n n in g c o n d itio n . T h e in p u t m o n ito rs th e
D+ te rm in a l o f th e c h a rg e a lte rn a to r.
To shut-down the engine manually:
-if th e AUX o u tp u t is se t to Stop o p tio n , p re ss
th e PREHEAT/STOP ( ) b u tto n u n til th e e n g in e
c o m e s to re st. T h e n se le c t th e OFF p o sitio n o n
th e sw itc h .
