1 Compatible With Various Media and Music Formats

Playback of MP3, AAC, WAV and AIFF files recorded on USB mass storage devices1 and CD-R/
RW discs as well as conventional music CDs. Adapting to todays variety of media formats,
the CDJ-350 enables playback of MP3, AAC, WAV and AIFF audio files from CDs and USB
memory devices. A USB port located on top of the turntable enables users to quickly connect
an external storage device or a hard drive packed with music files, minimizing the need to
bring a laptop computer to performances.

Management Software
The CDJ-350-W turntable includes rekordbox, Pioneers
proprietary music management software2 that organizes and
catalogs a DJs entire music library. When music files are
imported to rekordbox, the software analyzes each file and
prepares them for use specifically with the CDJ turntable.

1 Record Directly to USB Devices

Users can conveniently record their DJ mixes directly to a USB mass storage device via a USB
port (Type A) located on the face of the mixer without having to use a computer or recording
device. Recorded DJ mixes are saved as WAV files, allowing them to be imported for playback
on a PC or other portable audio players.
2 Four Types of Effects
Two effects, Noise and Short Echo, were added to the popular Filter and Jet effects enabling
users to further enhance remixing capabilities:
NOISE - Creates a wind-like effect by changing the cut-off frequency (audible
spectrum) of the filter
SHORT ECHO - Applies a reverberated sound to the music with a turn of the knob
FILTER - Greatly alters the tonal quality of the music by removing audio from the
high or low frequency bands
JET - Applies a jet plane taking off or landing sound effect to the music

3 Auto Beat Loop Function

With one press of a button on the player, the user can create various loop performances
including:

Loop Divide - While playing a loop, plays the loop at a different rhythm
Hot Loop - While playing a loop, returns to the start of the loop and plays it

4 DJ Software Compatible
The CDJ-350-W is HID and MIDI compatible with other DJ software allowing it to be used as
an audio interface. The HID controls were implemented into the player for superior interfacing
with software, faster communication speed over MIDI, audio/visual streaming and two-way
information on the display. HID enables easy, precise and native control of DVS systems
without the need for time-coded discs.

3 Isolated 3-Band Equalizer

The mixer features a built-in 3-band equalizer (isolator3 type) that allows a broad range of
independent level control, from +9dB to - (cut) in each of the HI, MID & LOW ranges.
4 Selectable MIC/AUX channel
Mounted with a MIC/AUX terminal for connecting portable audio devices or microphones.

mass-storage device protocol standard, and formatted in one of the following: FAT16, FAT32, or HFS+
