AUTOMATIC GATE OPENER

ABSTRACT

We see in our daily life when a car or any other vehicles come near or wait in front of the
door/gate for any other person comes and open the door. Just amazing if opening and also
closing without presence of the other person when a car/vehicle comes or wait in front of
the gate or door!!. Is it possible? yes it is possible door.
The main aim of the proect is to develop a system so as to sense whether a vehicle is
present in front of the gate and opens the gate automatically and closes thereafter.
We no need to wait for the other person or not needed to get down from the car and open
the gate so as to drive the vehicle and par! inside. We can achieve the proect through I"
transmitter and I" receiver. We are using the stepper motor to control the gate for opening
and closing. To get the signal from I" sensor and control the outputs can be achieved
with the help of software code developed and loaded into a micro controller.
We use #$%& microcontroller as the control unit which is one of the powerful micro'
controller for commercial purpose. We are using the one of the powerful tool to develop
the software for this proect. It has an additional feature of indicating number of vehicles
passed in and is displayed on an ()* screen
