Hidrogeocol Cía. Ltda carried out groundwater monitoring at Petrocomercial Amazonas Station in 2013. They took water level measurements from 10 wells on different dates to create piezometric maps. The data collected included well locations, elevations, and water levels. Using this data, they generated four piezometric maps in Surfer software to understand the local groundwater flow behavior within the station. The maps showed the flow direction was consistently west to east, except around one deep well, and identified areas of concentrated flow between two wells.

During 2013 Hidrogeocol Ca. Ltda carried out a work of groundwater monitoring inside of Petrocomercial Amazonas Station.
In order to make the corresponding piezometric map was necessary to take some measures in the 10 wells inside of station during different periods of time (Figure No.1).
The Table No.1 indicates some data about wells and the monitoring dates.
Table No.1.- Information about wells inside of Petrocomercial Amazonas Station HEIGHT is the wells elevation taking in account the top of casing (TOC) With the SUFER 8.0 tools we generated four (4) piezometric map taking in account new data recollected during this month (04/06/2014).
For this purpose we must measure the groundwater level with respect to the Top of Casing (TOC). So we obtain the data contained in the Table No. 2.
Hidrogeocol built a piezometric map considering regional information adding groundwater levels from other wells around the influence zone. These results are presented in Figure No. 1
In our case, we decided to make local maps with the 10 monitoring wells, in order to understand the behavior inside the station so we generated four different piezometric maps using the data from Table No. 2.
Figure No.1.- Piezometric map of the Petrocomercial Amazonas Station (Hidrogeocol Ca. Ltda, 2013) Table No.2.- Information about wells with the corrected groundwater level (Corrected G.L) RESULTS
In all cases the flow direction (groundwater) inside the station is approximately west-east which is concordant with the regional direction in this place. For this analysis we used kriging option from Surfer software by generating isolines. The well number 8 is capturing groundwater from de depth aquifer so may be for this reason there is an unusual flow direction around it. There is a concentration of flow direction at the wells number 2 and 5.
