A school administrator promotes the success of all students by acting
with integrity, fairness, and in an ethical manner. Personal Statement: A leader should always be fair when making any type of decision. When making decisions, acting in a professional manner should be practiced. Standard Function Artifact Reflection Source (Course) B Ethical Belief Statement This assignment helped me gain insight into who I am as a person, as well as a leader. I learned about myself as well as my ethical stance through this process. EA 740 (School as a Formal Organization) A, D Failure is Not An Option Paper This paper was based off of the book titled: Failure Is Not An Option. It put into perspective how schools are perceived. It allowed me the chance to see that there should be no room for error in a school system. All school systems should be treated fairly and equally. EA 740 (School as a Formal Organization) C, D Educational Law Final Project: Simulated Hearing This activity helped me to better understand the two different types of due processes. It also put into perspective what an actual hearing might look and sound like. EA 742 (Educational Law) C, D Case Study: Goss V. Lopez This case exposed me to procedural due process. It also gave me insight into how the 10-day suspension rule came about. EA 742 (Educational Law) C, D Case Study: The Freedom of Information and Student Records. This case allowed for the review of FOIA and FERPA statutes with regards to administrative positions.
