Senior Capstone Engineering Project. Working with two other engineering students to produce
a new product for medical purposes. This project included extensive project learning, design,
product testing and manufacturing. The product is an eye medicine applicator that can be used
upright and reduces the waste of excess medicine.

Solid Modeling Project. For this project a group of five engineering students used a computer
modeling program, CATIA, to model a boxer engine from a model airplane. We each got a
subassembly to draw each part then assemble it. After all the subassembly were done the
whole engine was assembled and rendered as well as a motion study of how the pistons
interact with each other and the propeller.

Inverted Pendulum Project. For my dynamic modeling class I created an inverted pendulum
using the Arduino programing code. I used a small electric motor and an array of batters to
power and move the pendulum. An accelerometer was used to track the position of the
pendulum. The Arduino was used to link the position of the pendulum to and the power input
to the motor to keep the pendulum upright even when an outside for acted on it.
