A. Daily instruction and coaching that utilizes


positive reinforcement, with verbal praise
and encouragement for achieving desired
behaviors. Student will be allowed
numerous movement breaks throughout
each day.

B. Specific rules regarding harmful acts (no


hitting, no biting, no pushing) will be
displayed clearly for the student to be
reminded on a daily basis.

C. If rules are broken, student will have


immediate consequences including a 1minute time out. If an individual is harmed
as a result of students behavior, the student
will write an apology letter to that individual.

D. In addition to positive verbal reinforcement


and support, student will maintain a daily
behavior chart that will track daily progress.
Attainment of daily short-term goals will be
rewarded with small rewards tailored to the
students interests, including 15 minutes of
the following: movie or TV time, looking at
motorbike books & magazines, movement
time on the playground, or time to work on a
special gardening project to be determined
by the teachers.
