Inquiry to Action Teams: Collaboration and Co-Planning

February 27, 2015

9:00-9:20
Community Builder - Tandem Interview
Partner up with someone you have never spoken to before today and interview each other using the following
questions:
1. Where are you originally from?
2. What made you decide to become a teacher?
3. What is favorite food?
4. What was the highlight of your winter break?
Then, find another pair neither of you knows well. Go around the group, introduce your partner and share what
you learned about them during your interview.
9:20-10:50
Co-Planning for Co-Teaching
Work in a group of 4 to co-plan a lesson to be co-taught by 2 or more adults. The guiding question for your
work together is:
How is what we are planning substantively different, and better for students, than what one teacher
would do alone?
