!rief Description:
In this Skills Builder activity you will apply your spreadsheet skills to
the creation of an efective classroom activity. After your students have
measured objects in the classroom, they can organize their data in a
spreadsheet and then chart those measurements. To do these tasks, they
must frst create the spreadsheet containing the information, and then use
that information to display it visually by means of a bar chart and a pie
chart. This activitys skills can be adapted for use in any type of classroom
exercise that requires the organization, calculation, and/or display of
numeric data (Pearson Education, 1).
