Date: March 22, 2013 Course: EDUC 201: Using Computers in Education Brief Description
The activity was created using the Microsoft Excel software. My students went through our classroom, and took measurements of certain objects using traditional tools from the classroom. Then we charted the measurements, and created various types of charts to show our findings.

Rationale
This assignment demonstrates my knowledge of subject matter and combining lessons with technology. It helps advance student learning and encourages creativity as students are able to experiment with Excel tools as they create professional looking bar and pie graphs. The knowledge of using technology for this one assignment will help students with other areas of their learning as well.
