2 0 1 4 APIA Conference: Manado, Sulawesi, Indonesia 2014 John Walker MSC For one week late July 2014, over fifty delegates from Korea, Japan, Philippines, Indonesia, Viet Nam, India, Papua New Guinea, the Pacific Union and Australia gathered in Manado for the biennial APIA Conference; the theme, Missioning MSC into the future: being MSC in our world today. Three concurrent conferences assembled including formators, JPIC and the Brothers. After a week of deliberations reports were presented to the Superiors from the various jurisdictions. The Indonesian scholasticate and pre-novitiate were the venue for the conference; a lush tropical campus forty five minutes from the city centre, and home to approximately ninety four students. The hospitality shown by our Indonesian confreres was quite extraordinary and the organisation exceptional. This pictorial record is in part attributed to Joni Astanto MSC (Indonesia) together with my own contribution.
