Executive summary
3o interrupt my skills and educational knowledge of 4inance $ done my internship in
/ational +ank of Pakistan Mailsi +ranch 5istrict ,ehari and to know how $ will work
in financial institutions and among various types of people have different attitude.
3he ob0ective of this $nternship was to e6plore the issues relating to 4inance and to
find out problems regarding the theoretical concepts with practical e6perience
working in an organi1ation during the internship and study the system of /ational
+ank of Pakistan. 3here are many possible improvements, which we can make
positive changes in the system.
3here is shortage of employees in the organi1ation. "ith development of online
banking system the load of work can be decreased. All the staffs do not know about
computer. 3here is almost one or two employees are trained to operate the system in
every branch. 7specially, the cash department is not familiar with computer and
information system.
$t is not easy for it to implement a new system immediately it takes a lot of time to
replace systems. .nce implemented its testing takes more time. !o it is important for
the +ank to develop a research department for redesigning the operations of the +ank.
3he 4inance of the bank is e6perienced but not ade*uate with the changing
environment of financial institutions. $ observed that seniors are illiterate of computer
and not technical hands. /ew comers have more knowledge about business
administration and skilled in information technology. 3o update the skills, it is
suggested to develop human resources training programs and refresher courses.
