A special performance from The Velvet Elvis

The King lives! After leaving the building on August 16, 2011, the 34th anniversary of the
Great Ones death, Jonny Barber has resurrected The Velvet Elvis. Following a two-year
hiatus, Colorados beloved Elvis tribute artist returned on Dec. 3, 2013 (the 45th
anniversary of the Comeback Special on NBC), and will resume swooning and crooning
just in time for Valentines Day.

Whereas most Elvis impersonators simply impersonate Elvis, the Velvet Elvis channels
him better than anybody weve ever seen. If you close your eyes, he is The King. Hell,
keep em open, for that matter. Fact is, the more time he spends as the Velvet Elvis, the
more and more Jonny Barber is beginning to look like The King.
Dave Herrera, Westword

Bow Tie Tutorials from Minus the Dart: Local designer Rebecca Tischler will be on-site selling
bow ties for men and women, giving tying tutorials, and also selling high-waisted womens
underwear.
