Position Title: Inside Sales Engineer
Reports To: Territory Sales Manager
Primary Function: "evelop leads and opportunities for the #.S. salesforce$ achieve
%uota assignment and provide all aspects of sales services to Advantech customers as
a member of our dedicated &ertical Mar'eting Sales team.
Major Responsibilities:
Achieve Sales %uota business development and sales assignments in assigned
territory(mar'et in the #.S.
Identify follo! up and develop leads and opportunities in assigned territory
(mar'et via follo!ing activities)
o Outbound calls
o Inbound calls
o Emails
o *uotation
o Co+!or' !ith ,ield Sales according to AOnline -A+.A guideline
Co+!or' !ith ,ield Sales according to the AOnline -eneral Accounts and .ey
Accounts guidelines
/espond and follo! up on in%uiries in timely fashion and assist customers in
product selection
/evie! system %uotes and orders for accuracy prior to release for order
processing
Maintain a reasonable level of !or'ing 'no!ledge of responsible products and
application
0ecome pro1cient !ith internal soft!are tools used in %uoting and customer
trac'ing
/ecommend enhancements to products based on mar'et feedbac'.
2or' !ith Mar'eting "epartment on related mar'eting campaigns or activities
Complete special assignments or tas's from management
Skills/Education Requirements:
E3perience !ith technical industrial sales 4C repair electronics or related 1eld
preferred.
Strong interpersonal communication s'ills.
Strong comprehensive 'no!ledge of Microsoft 2indo!s based 4C technology.
4roclivity for industrial embedded and applied computing technology.
4referred education and s'ills are)
o "egree or completion of trade school.
o Telemar'eting e3perience.
o .no!ledge of all aspects of 4C components and functionality.
