The i ntel l i gent MD110 functi ons as a hi gh-capaci ty di gi tal voi ce-data PBX, carryi ng di gi tal voi ce, data, and vi deo transparentl y throughout the same networked system. The network can consi st of on-premi se hard-wi red, wi rel ess nodes, or wi de area networked l i nks. The MD110 operates i n a coherent si ngl e system mode and offers customi zabl e capabi l i ti es. The NT-based MD110 al l ows ful l computer tel ephony i nternetworki ng wi th computer-supported tel ephony systems. The MD110 contai ns LI Ms (Li ne I nterface Modul es) that can be di stri buted throughout a si te, and i s managed from a termi nal usi ng the MD110 propri etary i nterface. Eri cssons SNMP Agent serves as an i nterface between the MD110 and a TCP/ I P LAN. Thi s agent popul ates the agent mi b by i nterrogati ng the MD110 over the propri etary i nterface. Connecti on to the TCP/I P network can exi st vi a Ethernet, V.24, or Token Ri ng. The SNMP Agent can exi st as a stand-al one uni t for a si ngl e MD110, or i n a chassi s package i ncl udi ng up to ei ght agents.
