How to upgrade TP-LINK Wired device

Notice:
Please verify the hardware version of your device for the firmware ver
sion.Wrong firmware upgrading may damage your device and void the
warranty.
After you downloaded the firmware from TP-LINK wesite! please use
decompression software such as Win"IP or Win#A# to e$tract the
firmware file to a folder%

upgrade process%
Please write down all the modem settings for ac)up.
Step 1 Log into the ADSL Modem Router by typing http://192.168.1.1 in the address

Step 2 0'i#1 System Tools 23Firmware( #'i#1 the Browse button to #hoose the
irm!are you a'ready e&tra#ted in the o'der.
Step 3 0'i#1 the Upgrade button. +he de/i#e !i'' reboot automati#a''y ater the
upgrading has been inished. .'ease !ait about 4 minutes.
Step 4 0'i#1 Status( /eriy that the router5s irm!are has been upgraded.
Step 5 $t is re#ommended that restoring the de/i#e to a#tory deau't to ma1e the ne!
un#tions ta1e ae#t6 0'i#1 System Tools23Factory Defaults( 0'i#1 Restore 7utton.
Step Ater restoring a#tory deau't( p'ease 'ogin http://192.168.1.1 and re2enter the
settings you ha/e !ritten do!n beore upgrading.
