Class Notebook Requirements

Notes must be kept in a dedicated three-ring binder (you will have a


lot of information by the end of the semester so the 2 inch size is
required). lease print your first and last name on a printer (on white
paper) and tape your name on the notebook at least two times.
!ach section should be labeled and should follow the order of in class
lectures ("ou should have # sections in your notebook$ based on the #
requirements for the notebook).
"ou must purchase dividers with labels to separate each of the
sections.
%ontents of the notebook can be handwritten or if you bring a laptop
to class, you can print off the notes and put them in the binder. &f
incomplete notes were handed out for the lecture$ this will count as
your notes and they must be placed in the binder once you get the
grades notes back.
"our notebooks should be cumulative and in order. &f you have a
question about a concept from an earlier chapter$ you should be able
to find the answer by flipping back a few pages in your notebook.
Notebooks will be collected on the day of the e'am$ and graded based
on the (Notebook )*+ requirements below.
Notebooks will again be collected at various times throughout the
semester and graded based on the (Notebook )2+ requirements below.
!ach notebook assignment is worth *2, points. To get credit for a
section, you must completely fulfill the requirements listed below.
-hese assignments are useless and really annoying if you wait until
the last minute to do it. .o a little every day. -his notebook will be
your resource for studying. &f you do the work$ you will be prepared
to study.

have several pages of notes when you are done per chapter.
