Dear Vendor,
HDMS is excited to be hosting this event. It will be open and advertised to the public. Our
autumn craft fair is a fundraiser for various school programs. It offers an opportunity for our students to
become familiar with local artists and crafters. There may be several student tables mixed into the floor
plan, allowing them to experience the process of creating and selling their products among seasoned
participants. We hope to promote a positive sense of nurturing and support toward all our participants as
it is in our schools mission statement to urge all our students to be participating members of a
socially-conscious and green community by inspiring them to be critical thinkers capable of reflection,
communication and action. Thank you for your interest in this very special event.
Please read the following information, fill out the application, and mail by August 1, 2014 it with
the hold harmless agreement and payment to:

You will be notified by email as soon as your application is processed. If your application is not
accepted, your check will be returned to you or destroyed. We will begin selecting vendors by May 1,
2014. Please allow 3 weeks after that for processing.

Event Location: High Desert Montessori School, 2025 Silverada Blvd., Reno, 89521
Set up times: Friday, October 3, 5:30-7pm, Saturday, October 4, 8:00-10:00am
Event Date: Saturday, October 4, 2014
Shopping Hours: 10am-4pm
One Donated Item: $10-$15 value for our raffle
Make checks payable to: Friends of HDMS. Returned checks will be assessed a $25 fee.
Exhibitors will provide their own booth set up (tables, chairs, electrical cords etc.)
We will assign booth space on a first come, first serve basis, according to post mark date
All tables must have table coverings.
Food items must be packed and labeled (samples must be with approved health certificate)
All exhibitors and vendors are responsible for sales tax on items sold.
Nevada Department of Taxation One Time Sales Tax Return form will be issued to all vendors
Tax forms must be returned to Sabrina McCue before tear down.
The following items are not permitted to be sold; drug paraphernalia, sex items, weapons
including but not limited to guns, knives, swords, bows and arrows.
Exhibitors must remain open until the end of the event, 10:00am-4:00pm.
Hanging or attaching items to the walls is not allowed, booths 3-12 have a 5 height maximum.
There will not be a rain date and no refunds will be given for weather related issues on
outside booths.
Once accepted, there are no refunds for withdraws for any reason. No shows will be prohibited
from future fairs. Please notify us ASAP so we can fill your spot with a fellow crafter on the
waiting list.
Booth assignments and instructions will be sent to you prior to the event.
HDMS is not responsible for loss, theft or damage of any items you have brought to the show
