CUSTOMER TOOLS MENU: Useful stuff menu driven so its fairly easy to
navigate. Press Access and then the default access code is 1111.
DIAGNOSTIC MODE
From the powered-on state, hold down the # button while then pressing the Access
button Youll be asked for a password (default is 1934), key it in followed by
enter. For Memory Adjustments: From the Main Menu, press Diagnostic Routines
followed by Copier Routines, then press 161 NVM Read/Write, scroll through the
menu to find the code you want to change.
* Resetting Toner Concentration Codes (09-360, 09-361, 09-362, 09-363)
Read above for how to access the Memory Adjustments, then scroll down to Code 09-
115 and press Read/Write. If it is set to 1, change it to a 0 and confirm your
selection. Naturally, youll need to solve the problem which caused the code in the first
place or itll likely come back again.
