Salary: Grade 2: 15,054 - 16,252 pro-rata (to 35 hours) + night allowance of 3,653 pro rata for night shifts

The duties of the job include:
To act as the first point of contact within the hall, to receive residents in a welcoming and helpful manner To receive, record and pass on messages to relevant staff, providing a clear handover between shifts. To make appointments for enquirers and others with relevant members of the Residential Services Team. To receive and record the delivery of post and parcels. To control the security and issuing of keys / swipes for rooms, ensuring that proedures for recording the whereabouts of all keys are followed. To provide general administrative support as required. To prepare and input data into relevant record systems. To place orders and raise requesitions for a range of supplies and equipment, which includes stationery. To receive and reciept all deliveries to Halls. To accurately record student behaviour and visitor logs. To keep the reception area and relevant surrounding areas clean and tidy at all times.

Experience within a similar role The ability to understand and follow both verbal and written instruction and procedures and to communicate clearly in the English language The ability to work under own initiative and as a member of a team. The ability to keep accurate manual and computer based records. The ability to carry out duties as outlined in the Job Description which include bending, walking, pushing, lifting, climbing stairs, and handling equipment A level of education equivalent to 5 passes at GCSE (Grades A C including English and Maths) Willing to cover overtime
