I. INTRODUCTION: Introduce the individual. Tell about their life. Tell when and where she/he was born. What was his/her family structure like?
II. BODY PARAGRAPH #1: CONTRIBUTIONS TO SOCIETY Describe in detail why this a notable person in history. Define the word contribution. Talk about his/her contributions. What actions made this person important? In what ways were his or her contributions unusual? What did most people do? How were this persons actions different?
III. BODY PARAGRAPH #2: IMPACT OF ACTIONS Explain in detail how he or she influenced society. How did he/she change the lives of people? Did other people benefit from his/her action(s)? If so, how? Why do you think his/her action(s) was/were good for most people? What is the relationship between how people acted before this persons action and after this persons action?
IV. BODY PARAGRAPH #3: MOTIVATION Describe in detail what motivated him/her to not give up her efforts. Did he/she stop? Why or Why not? What would have happened if she had stopped?
V. CONCLUSION: MAKE CONNECTIONS WITH YOUR LIFE How is his/her life different from your life today? Name two differences. Imagine his/she had not done this, would your life be different? How?
