HALL OF FAME

It was a proud moment for Delhi Public School Ghaziabad when little mermaids Saira
Sirohi, class XF and Aena Attreya, class IXE brought laurels to the school in the CBSE
East Zone Swimming Meet, 2014. The event was held at North Point Senior Secondary
Boarding School, Kolkata from 29
th
August, 2014 to 31
st
August, 2014.

Saira Sirohi won three gold medals in 50 m Breast Stroke, 50m Butterfly and 50m Free
Style as well as two silver medals in 100 m Breast Stroke, 200 m Breast Stroke. She was
also awarded the Best Swimmer Trophy.

Aena Attreya, bagged one gold medal in 200 m Breast Stroke and one silver medal in
100 m Breast Stroke. She also won three bronze medals in 800 m Free Style, 400 m
Free Style and 50 m Breast Stroke respectively.

Both Saira and Aena have been selected for the Nationals.


Avishi Singh, class VID participated in Aquatix Inter School Swimming
Championship held at Vidya Global School, Meerut on 29
th
and 30
th
August, 2014. She
secured first position in all three events -100m Free Style, 25m Back Stroke and 25m
Free Style. She was declared the Individual Champion (under 10 category). Avishi was
also awarded an Individual Trophy for securing first position in 25m Free Style, 25m
Back Stroke and 100m Free Style respectively.
