37% Bangladeshis smoke
Men aged 35-49 years have the highest smoking
prevalence at 70.3%
58.2% of those men who has monthly income of
less than $24 smoke
Women tends to smoke bidis, hukkas etc.
Per capita consumption of cigarette sticks was
492 in 1970 and in 2000, it is only 234
