FOREIGN LANGUAGE CONTRACT

Dear Parent/Guardian:
Please sign this contract after you have read it with your child. The contract is to be taped on the inside
back cover of the foreign language marbled notebook and kept available for reference at all times.

MATERIALS:














RITUALS AND ROUTINES:
Upon entering the classroom, open your notebooks and
Enter the topic of the lesson in your table of content
Proceed to copy the opening and guided question
Take out your homework (if HW was assigned)
During class, take notes from the MINI-LESSON and attach handouts given.
Before the end of class, copy the HOMEWORK in your school planner.
BEHAVIOR/CLASSROOM PROCEDURES;
Be in class on time.
Take the seat assigned to you according to your group.
During class, raise your hand. Wait for the teacher to call on you before you begin to speak.
Eating and drinking are only allowed in the cafeteria. Gum chewing is not allowed anywhere on school
premises.
Attendance and punctuality are important components of your grade.
In case of absence, you are responsible for any work and handouts you missed.
GRADING:
Your grades will be based on how well you perform in the following areas:
Notebook- 25%
Class work -25%
Assessments (tests, quizzes, essays, project) - 30%
Participation-10%
Homework - 10%

EXTRA HELP
Special arrangements will be made to address specific student needs. This extra help will be provided by
appointment.
