Problem of the Week

The students of BITS Goa would like to have a swimming pool on campus. The Administration of
BITS Goa is not so keen and cites maintanence as reason. The Administration of BITS Goa is more
keen on making the campus more green. As debates raged on about the swimming pool , a first year
student, amchandran proposed a method to resolve the !uestion.
The administration plants infinte trees around the campus. "or each tree, they declare a non#$ero
radius where they will not plant any more trees.
%g. "or a particular tree T, if the non#$ero radius is &. "or an area of '&(pi around the tree they wont
plant any more trees.
)ote * The radius can be infintesimaly small but not $ero.
The swimming pool must be a rectangular plot of + unit. The students can have their swimming
pool if they can find the space.
Assume that BITS Goa is infinitely large.
Is there a way in which the administration can plant trees such that its impossible to find space for
the pool,
