Reflection on invention day

On Tuesday 9
th
September I took part in the Grade 4
Innovation Day.

In order to prepare for the day I had to think of a new
invention or innovation. I decided to make a shoe with
roller skates and rocket boosters on it.

The purpose of this invention or innovation is to
help people get places faster.

The audience for my invention would be kids 7-16
because it is more of a kid thing to do stunts and putt
on roller skates

I used the Design Brief to plan the equipment,
material, design and the procedure I would follow on
the day in order to make my invention or innovation.

On the Invention Day ..
I really enjoyed making my invention because it was

On the day I found it challenging when I had to clean
up because there was a lot of mess. The easiest part was
when I painted my shoe because I love painting and I
know how to do it

I was really pleased with my shoe If I was to make my
product again I would improve it by adding 2 rocket
boosters because I want to make it cooler and more fun.
