A very good morning to our principal, Puan Tan Siew Choo, senior assistant, teachers and my fellow

Chong Hwa students. Now, I know I’m not supposed to say good morning again, I’ve learnt my lesson
from last time, so uhh, let’s just right into the topic this time!

ChatGPT is an AI computer program and uh, it’s taking over our life. It’s all over the news and
everything but last time I asked ChatGPT for instructions to bake a chocolate cake. But it still didn’t
taste sweet, it didn’t taste like chocolate either. But uh, I couldn’t come up with an idea yesterday
while I was trying to write my script for the speech you’re hearing right now, so I decided to give it
another try and see what kind of disaster it’ll create this time!

So I went onto the website and asked the AI, “Got any creative ideas for a 10 year old’s birthday
party?”

1. A Scavenger Hunt: Create a scavenger hunt around your home or local park.
Make sure to include fun clues and prizes along the way.
2. DIY Art Party: Set up an art station with canvases, paint, brushes, and other art
supplies. Let the kids get creative and have fun making their own
masterpieces.
3. Backyard Movie Night: Set up a screen and projector in your backyard and
show a kid-friendly movie. Provide blankets and snacks for everyone to enjoy.
4. Sports Tournament: Organize a sports tournament with games like kickball,
capture the flag, and dodgeball. Make sure to have plenty of water and snacks
on hand.
5. Cooking Party: Have a cooking party where kids can make their own pizzas,
cupcakes, or other kid-friendly recipes. Make sure to have all the ingredients
and tools ready.
6. Spa Day: Set up a DIY spa station with face masks, nail polish, and other
pampering products. Let the kids relax and have fun.
7. Science Experiment Party: Set up different science experiments and let the kids
get hands-on with learning. Make sure to have adult supervision and safety
precautions in place.
8. Camping Party: Set up a tent in your backyard and have a camping party.
Make s'mores, tell ghost stories, and have a fun outdoor adventure.

So I was like, that’s…a little boring. You know…why don’t we change the question a little? And I went:
“Got any awful ideas for a child’s birthday?”

Sure, here are some weird ideas for a 10-year-old's birthday:

1. Mad Scientist Party: Set up a laboratory and have the kids do fun experiments
like making slime, creating chemical reactions, or exploding balloons.
2. Mystery Dinner Party: Create a murder mystery or other mystery game where
the kids have to solve clues to figure out who the culprit is. Serve dinner in the
midst of the mystery.
3. Zombie Apocalypse Party: Set up a zombie obstacle course and have the kids
try to avoid getting "infected". Serve brain-shaped cupcakes and zombie-
themed snacks.
4. Bubble Wrap Party: Set up a room filled with bubble wrap and let the kids
jump and pop to their hearts' content.

Now, suggest ideas for my birthday.
