About the Institution
B.M. Sreenivasaiah College of Engineering, popularly
known as BMSCE, was started way back in 1946, under
the flagship of Late Sri. B.M. Sreenivasiah. It was one
of the first private sector initiatives in Technical
Education in India and is approved by All India Council
for Technical Education (AICTE). The institution has
made its mark by offering UG, PG and Research
programs in most of the branches of Engineering,
Computer Applications, and Business Administration.
The UG programme is autonomous under the
Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belgaum.
BMSCE is the only institution from India adopted by
The Melton Foundation, USA. The College has been
ranked as one of the top 25 Institutions in the Country
by surveys conducted by various media sources.
BMSCE has recently been accredited with A Grade by
National Assessment & Accreditation Council [NAAC].

About the Department
The Department of Management Studies & Research
Center started in the year 1992. The Department has
been striving towards offering quality education in the
field of Management since its inception. It also offers
various value added programs.

About the Conference
India is considered to be one of the most progressive
emerging economies in the global arena. Business
practices determine the success of any organization.
Today several business models are been developed in
order to manage businesses. This conference is aimed at
addressing one of the most talked about model which
has now caught the attention of most of the
organizations namely sustainable business model also
called as green business.

The sustainable business model will address the TBL
dimensions (Triple Bottom Line) which are social,
environmental and financial aspects. Thus the department of
Management studies and Research center has embarked this
years international conference journey of research by aptly
selecting a topic on Sustainable Business Models in the
Emerging Global Economy
