Unlike your Readers Profile, your writer self-assessment will be shorter and in LETTER
format. (Include the date, greeting, and closing to your letter.) Your tone can be less formal
than in your Readers Profile, however, grammar and spelling still must be correct.
Your letter must be addressed to a writer you admire. *If you dont have one, do a little research.
You should provide information about YOURSELF as a writer addressing the following five questions:
1. In your opinion how has your writing evolved over the past couple years?
2. Why do you write? What do you like to write? (Journaling, letters, poems, stories, plays, articles, etc.)
3. What do you like to write about?
4. What is the challenging part of writing for you? OR What types of writing do you like or dislike?
5. What is one writing goal for the school year?
As always provide explanations. Be HONEST, be SPECIFIC, and be DETAILED.
Letter must be one page typed, 1.5 spacing, with a proper greeting and closing.
Due: Letter must be shared with Ms. Rose via Google Drive by Monday, September 15
