Trigonometry

Instructor: Ms. Perkins

e-mail: vperkins@weps.k12.co.us
Course Description: As its name would suggest, the study of trigonometry will focus on triangles,
specifically the relationship between the sides and angles of right triangles.
Real-world problems involving trigonometry are common in engineering,
physics, construction, and design.

Grading Scale: Grades will be assigned in accordance with district policy. Daily assignments,
in-class projects, quizzes and tests will be used to determine grades.

A - 90%-100%, B 80%-89%, C 70%-79%, D 60%-69%, F 59% or less

Homework Policy: Students will be given daily assignments to enable skills practice. Except in
the case of absences, for each day late an assignment will drop ten percentage
points. Assignments that are four or more days late will be assigned no
points.
