I produce written content for the Fargo areas largest print publication. I have
already produced three front-page articles in my first month. I use social media
and I am extremely organized. The position requires a lot of research and writing.

The Reading Eagle, intern news reporter, May 2014 Aug. 2014
I produced written content for the daily Reading Eagle newspaper. I utilized
social media to promote content and I collaborated with other writers, editors,
photographers, designers and PR professionals.

Social media coordinator/marketing, The NDSU Herd (News,
Fashion, Pop Culture Talk Show), Jan. 2014 - present
I was responsible for marketing and promoting The Herd TV show that aired
weekly on the Bison Information Network. I boosted the shows social media
presence by more than 100 percent in a matter of weeks.

Produce content for a bi-weekly campus news publication. I edit content of other
writers and manage a small staff of writers. I am also proficiently use social
media to promote the newspapers content.

I reported for the NDSU campus TV station. I assist behind the scenes by running
cameras, the teleprompter, sound board or graphics machine.

The Orange County Register, Freelance Reporter, Aug. 2011 Jan.
2014
I was a full-time freelance journalist that worked on special projects as well as
beat coverage for multiple cities in Orange County, Calif. I had daily deadlines
and worked with multiple editors, photographers, PR professionals, designers
and other writers. I was required to use social media to market my work and the
work of the company.

The Seegmiller Law Firm, Intern, June 2012 - Aug. 2012 (Located in
Newport Beach)
I wrote content for The Seegmiller Law Firms blog. My work consisted of wiring
news and marketing content. The blog was used to attract potential clients and it
was successful.

The Orange County Register, Intern Reporter, June 2011 - Aug. 2011
I produced mostly written content for the Orange County Register, one of the
nations most circulated newspapers. I produced a few multimedia projects and I
worked with daily deadlines.

I was responsible for the production of the weekly Coast Report student
newspaper at Orange Coast College. The publication had a 5,000 circulation. I
was responsible for editorial, design and management aspects of the newspaper.

Coast Report, Multimedia/Online Editor, Aug. 2010 - Dec. 2011
I managed several multimedia projects and managed a small staff of multimedia
reporters. I produced many videos for the Coast Report newspapers website.
