INTRODUCTION
The teacher handbook aims at helping the teacher
to monitor the programme. handbook is a valuable teach-
ing device suitable for a wide range at iterests and abili-
ties. It contains list of teaching id, summarization of learn-
ings, an exicutive in arganization, a medium for self ex-
pression, an indication of progress and assignments of vari-
ous kinds. A bibliography of relavant books and jurnal
should be included.
TEACHERS HAND BOOK
The teachers handbook will contain the currect condi-
tions of employment for teachers in the teaching service, and
list their responsibilities. This information is extracted from
primary source documents including acts, regulations, deter-
minations, awards, agreement and arrangements.
ADVANTAGES
It is a device for review works
Its suggests the teacher to adopt appropriate stragies
to teach every topic
Finding the learning experience for each topic is easy
Tangible evidance for the progress of students
Work of the teacher is fostered
DISADVANTAGE
Teaches should form the habit of looking and referring
the guide book before going to class
Not easily available to all teachers.
CONCLUSION
Teacher handbook is an important tool for teachers to teach
students.Handbooks provide procedure for hending routine mat-
ters, clarify expantation of teachers, and provide a unified ap-
proach to our service to students, to the community and to the Re-
public school system
