Rules for shop drawing (wind post/column): 1. Find the correct length,width and thickness. 2. Try to save the assembly drawing in the particular order with the given height Exp: 650-290xxx should be saved as a 650-290238 3. For wind column shop drawing draw the welded part ( plate wind column top connection + plate wind column side connection +tube wind column endwall ) 4. For different height change the height of the wind column assembly not the height of the tube wind column endwall. 5. For this use configuration manager 6. If there is a table use edit table and change add the length or if the there is no table use add configuration. 7. In properties always use advanced options and select suppress new features and mates. 8. Change the configuration name and description 9. In the shop drawing take a look on the description, part number ,column height. 10. Change each of the view to the correct length from drawing view scroll down list. 11. Update the bill BOM if you dont see the change in length information.
Assembly for wind post: 1. Use only the wind column endwall assembly. 2. Try avoid the plate wind column top connection as a mirror view. 12. To do this hide the current base plate wind column endwall and use a new one to mate. 13.
