STRUCTURE AND VALUES MAY OPPRESS, MARGINALIZE,
ALIENATE, OR CREATE OR ENHANCE PRIVILEGE AND POWER
Learn and recognize the diverse effects of culture
this can be done as I visit daily in patient homes and
observe their surroundings

Learn how to develop social contexts when dealing
with ethnic minorities

THE INFLUENCE OF PERSONAL BIASES AND VALUES IN
WORKING WITH DIVERSE GROUPS
