Here's something for a dull saturday night.
I discovered this while mucking around with a calculator.
I have never analysed the mathematics behind it, just like it.

'type' in 9876543210 into your calculator

divide by 2

the answer is

4938271605

starting with the 4
every second number is - 43210
starting with the 9
every second number is 98765

all the original numbers neatly 'mixed' together.

now, if you multiply the answer by 4 you get

19753086420

which is all the odd numbers almost in order
followed by all the even numbers almost in order.

Yawn.
