Makassar as tourism and commercial city.


Makassar is a city which located in South Sulawesi, Indonesia. Makassar is also very popular
as a beach town. One of the famous beaches are Pantai Losari. Besides beaches, Makassar
also offer an island tours. Only five minutes by speedboat from the coast, there is Samalona
island. Samalona island is located near the port of Makassar. the place is very fun and
enjoyable. We can swim, fishing, even karaoke. Very suitable for families who want to
vacation. While in port, there is a long dock that is reserved for large boats bugis (Phinisi),
there are stunning views of the shipyard with a curved bow pointing upward and large pillars
forming a delicious symmetry in the eye.
Back to the center city, there is the castle Rotterdam (FORT ROTTERDAM) which is a
historical relic of the city. built in 1545 by the local kingdom of Goa, the fort is located in
Rotterdam waterfront and in the wake was taken back by the Dutch in 1667. Rotterdam has
fort form a thick outer wall of 2 meters and 7 meters high forming large city like a turtle. At
every corner and the main door for a prominent fortress out in the shape of a diamond,
making it difficult for the castle in the Dutch conquered, that can survive there for hundreds
of years.
Based on history, conquering small kingdoms in the surrounding, largely agrarian-based too,
