Oversized ejection port and extended magazine release enhance competition performance.
Slim, traditional design with hardwood grip panels and checkered backstrap.
Lightweight, aluminum, skeletonized trigger features an adjustable over-travel stop and
provides a very crisp, no creep, light trigger pull with a quick, positive reset.
Skeletonized hammer is lightweight and provides faster cycling.
Dovetailed, 3-dot sight system features a Novak LoMount Carry,
windage adjustable rear and standard front sights that combine
optimal target acquisition and an ideal carry configuration.
Oversized beavertail grip safety provides positive function and reliability.
Extended thumb safety and slide stop lever for improved, positive manipulation.

The SR22 has light double-action and crisp single-action trigger pulls. Its external
hammer is designed with a rounded spur for easy cocking and single-action shooting.
The SR22 features a polymer frame and two interchangeable (no tools required) rubberized
grips with angled serrations, allowing shooters to select either a slim or wider palm swell option.
The aerospace-grade aluminum slide has serrations on both front and rear
for better grip and slide manipulation.
The easy-to-use underside Picatinny-style rail features multiple cross slots for variable
mounting of most popular accessories.
The 3-dot sight system has a fixed front sight and a rear sight that is both windage and elevation
adjustable. A reversible blade allows shooters to select two white dots or a solid black blade.
Other SR22 features include a stainless steel replaceable barrel, an ambidextrous
manual thumb safety/decocking lever, ambidextrous magazine release, plus
a visual inspection port to determine the load status of the pistol.

separate the barrel/forend and action/buttstock for convenient storage and transportation. The simple reassembly of the
Easy takedown enables quick separation of the barrel/forend from the action/buttstock for ease of transportation and
storage*. Takedown is as simple as locking the bolt back and verifying that the rifle is unloaded, pushing a recessed lever,

Sliding tang safety provides instant security, visibility and accessibility.

Strong, simple, compact falling block breech mechanism with artillery-style
breechblock and under-lever is ideally suited for powerful cartridges.
Robust, sturdy, sculptured receiver forms a rigid support for barrel, stock and sliding breech block.
Ejector mechanism provides maximum leverage at the point where the
ejector engages the cartridge case and can be adjusted to provide extraction only.
Patented integral scope mounts, machined directly on the solid steel quarter rib, provide a stable
mounting surface for scope rings (included, Varminter model features scope mounting blocks).

purchasing two rings at a time. For example, the Ruger M77 Hawkeye rifles are shipped from the factory with a #4 front ring and a #5 rear ring,

LCP RECALL NOTICE: During 2008, Ruger received a small number of reports from the field indicating that LCP pistols discharged when dropped
onto a hard surface with a round in the chamber. We are firmly committed to safety and would like to retrofit all affected LCP pistols. The retrofit involves
installation of an upgraded hammer mechanism at no charge to the customer.

How to determine if your pistol needs the retrofit: All LCP pistols bearing prefix 370 (that is, serial number 370-xxxxx) may be affected. Newly manufactured
and retrofitted 370 prefix LCP pistols with the new hammer mechanism installed have been marked with a diamond in the flat portion of the slot just behind and
below the hammer, as shown to the right. If your pistol has the diamond, it does not need the retrofit. Going forward, new pistols will be marked with the serial number prefix 371 (serial number 371-xxxxx).
Pistols with the 371 prefix (or higher) are not affected. When we return your pistol, we also will send you a FREE magazine with the new finger grip extension as a thank you for your patience and

We want to remind gun users that, for maximum safety when carrying any pistol with a loaded magazine
in place, the chamber should be empty, and the slide should be closed. Any gun may fire if dropped or struck.
SR9 RECALL NOTICE: We have determined that some Ruger SR9 pistols manufactured between October 2007
and April 2008 can, under certain conditions, fire if dropped with their manual safeties in the off or fire position. The pistols
will not fire if the manual safety is in the on or safe position.
We have designed a new trigger group which prevents firing when dropped and are retrofitting all Ruger SR9 pistols starting
with serial number prefix 330 (330-xxxxx) with these new parts at NO CHARGE to our customers. When we return your pistol,
we also will send you a FREE magazine as a thank you for your patience and cooperation.
In order to ensure correct fitting, the new parts must be installed at our Ruger factory in Prescott, Arizona. We will remove the

The patented Ruger Conversion Kit is an entirely new operating system for these revolvers. It can help prevent accidental discharges caused by a drop or blow to the hammer if the user
has failed to take the basic safety precaution of keeping the hammer down on an empty chamber. Thats very important!
This mechanism can be factory-installed without any further alteration. The frame and other major parts will not be affected by this conversion. The value of the gun will not be impaired,
and we will return your original parts for collectors purposes.
