This weekend marks the start of the SUNSET CULTURAL GARDEN build. On Sunday, October 5th from 11am
to 3pm, there will be a BIG DIG at the corner of Bay and Strachan streets, right opposite the entrance to
Bayfront Park.
Volunteers will be cutting out two large oval shapes and adding compost and mulch - in preparation for the full
garden build next spring.
So, if you live in the North End and want to participate in the BIG DIG, please come out this Sunday, wear warm
clothing and boots and be prepared to get dirty while celebrating this large and very local GREEN undertaking.
