Group analysis/Evaluation

The group worked well together to begin with as we each contributed to the research process as we
split up to do individual tasks this was Sal doing some of the theory work john and I went to do the
graphs.
We then moved onto the questionnaire and research gathering. John produced graphs from our
preliminary research as Sal and I created a questionnaire that was sent out to the class.
I went about collecting the data, Sal reproduced the data so the john and I could represent the data
in graphs and PowerPoint.
We moved onto a large PowerPoint presentation that we all contributed to the PowerPoint we also
had Dan added to the group who later helped with our more qualitative questionnaire for our focus
group.
I conducted the focus group as Sal filmed and john took down brief notes. Sal and I produced a
PowerPoint from these results as john created some more graphs.
Our preliminary research was largely quantitative as we were trying to get as much information from
those who received the questionnaire. When we received the results we formatted them into a
clearer format such as graphs. When it came around to the focus group we created ten questions
that could give us more qualitative information.
Our results in a larger scheme of things werent as credible as they could have been this is because
of the small amount of people we asked. We focused on the class we worked in only giving us
around 20 people. We could have accessed a larger group of people with the questionnaire in the
college giving us a larger amount of results which would have meant we could get a better quality
focus group.
To conclude I believe our results showed a small fraction of the opinions and results of our target
demographic. If I were to do this again I would get a larger number of people from all around the
college so I could have more credible results.
