Purchased in 2006 with new PC computer
running Windows XP. Ink and drums are
expensive, but last me about a year f or my
small business use. Love the OCR sof tware
that was very easy to set up and use.
Converts into word or pdf f ormat. Once I
upgraded my computer to Windows 8, it no
longer works...no upgrading the drivers. The
paper f eed at the top also stopped working in

been a very reliable printer with very few October 20, 2011
2013...so I guess it's time to replace it anyway.
Had some issues starting in 2012 with it
jamming, but was able to f ix myself , keeping
the paper tray f ull helps. Overall I am very
happy with it, it was reliable to receive f axes,
scan, copy, and print. Gave it average on
speed and quality only because copy's can
come out a bit light, and the settings don't
change much. Also, it takes a little time to
warm up.

This is an excellent product. I love the ease of
use and the multi-f unctions. Most printers
seem to be expensive to keep up, but this
printer has never had any problems and the
ink cartridges are inexpensive as well. I love
the f act that I can print f rom any computer in
any location by the email print f eature. It is a
great printer and I would highly recommend it
to others.

The warm up time can slow production, but
overall dependable and good quality. You have
to carry a service contract since repairs are
very expensive.

We have a WorkCentre 4118 and a
CopyCentre C20. The only dif f erence between
the two is suppose to be the modem. Within 1
month, the f user broke. Xerox was kind
enough to send someone out to repair it. But,
another outlying problem still existed ... it is still
unable to copy printed sales receipts dark
enough to be readable. Works perf ectly on the
C20.

Having own many copiers over the years of
dif f erent brands, the WorkCenter 4118 is by
f ar and away the best copier I've ever had -
not to mention that copying is only one of its
f our f unctions! It has never broken down in the
f our years that I've had it. And it does a great
job in all f our of its f unctions - printing, f axing,
copying and scanning.

I have been using my WorkCentre in my of f ice
f or 4 years now. Other than an occasional
paper jam, usually due to media damage, it
does everything I need it to do. The tray f eeder
works great and double sided copies are
simple. The quality of the copies is good.
Reduce, enlarge, shrink to f it, it does it all.
Toner and drum are easily changed. I would
