UN Climate Deal
The UN African conference has highlighted
Africas persistence on guiding the Western world
into a fair response to the emission mitigation
targets. Officials from Tanzania, the democratic
Republic of the Congo, Ghana and Ethiopia said
they were optimisticthat a deal will be irined out by
the 2015 deadline, to be enforced no later than
2020. To date, there is somewhat of a stalemate,
with the west maybe not fulfilling commitments
that were already made but much of the west
needed to steady their own ship in recent years.
