2 - The Trinity (Vankleek Hill) UCW will gather on Thursday, October 2 in the
Church Hall at 7:30 pm. Everyone is welcome.

Oct. 03 The Centennial Choir of Cornwall will be presenting a fall concert of Choral
Delights to held in St. Andrews United Church in Martintown on Friday, October 3
beginning at 7:00pm. Light lunch to follow. This will be a fundraiser for the Avonmore-
Finch-Martintown pastoral charge Tickets are $12 in advance and $15 at the door. For

Oct. 4 - St. Andrew's United Church, Williamstown, will be hosting a Jazz Concert
on Saturday, October 4th at 7pm, featuring three phenomenal young jazz musicians -
Anthony Kubelka, Michael Kavchak and Anika France. This concert will be a fundraiser
to support a refugee family from Syria (with Seaway Valley, if that is approved, or if not,
with a church in Ottawa). Donations will be accepted at the door. We will collect names
and addresses for donations over $20, so that tax receipts can be provided at a later
date.

Oct. 17 - Ingleside-Newington United Church, Maple Street at Memorial Square,
Ingleside, presents Rev and the Choir Boys, Good Old-Fashioned Gospel, Country
and Folk Music, Friday October 17 @ 7:00 pm. Tickets $10 in advance, $12 at the
door. Light refreshments to follow. Proceeds from the concert go to church programs.

Oct. 19 Joint Service at Cassburn United at 10:30 am. Holy Communion. We will
also be celebrating World Food Day. This year, 2014, is also the International Year of
the Family Farm. Join us after the service for our international lunch!

Oct. 23 - Riceville-Pendleton Joint Congregational Executive Meeting will be held
on Thursday, Oct. 23rd, 2014, at 7:30 pm at Pendleton United.
Oct. 25 - Fall Tea and Bazaar at Lakeshore Drive United Church, Morrisburg on
Saturday, October 25th from 10:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Luncheon - $7.00. Choice of
Chili or Broccoli Cheese Soup with dessert, tea/coffee. Speciality tables, silent auction,
baked goods, frozen entrees, plants.

Oct. 26 The Ottawa Valley Mens Choir is being hosted by Cassburn United
Church on Sunday, October 26, starting at 3:00 pm. Fundraiser for The Genesis
Cooperative. Freewill offering. Refreshments following the program.
