Tile Construction

1. Cut out a 3 by 3 piece of cardstock. (fig. 1)

2. Draw a design on the top edge and the left edge of the cardstock. (fig. 2)

3. Cut out the top edge (fig. 3) and translate it to the bottom edge. Cut out the left edge and
translate it to the right edge. (fig. 4)

4. Once translated, tape the pieces together. (fig. 5)

5. Trace the design on an 8.5 x 11 sheet of paper (fig. 6) so that the entire paper is
filled. (fig. 7)

6. Draw in lines so the design actually looks like something, in this case, a dog. (fig. 8)

7. Color in accordingly. (fig. 9)
