CROSS CULTURAL ASIAN ART EDUCATION INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE
OF THE MIRIAM COLLEGE

The Miriam College, Social Sciences Department will conduct the 2
nd
Cross
Cultural Asian Art Education International Conference with the theme Art, Culture and
Technology on October 8-9, 2013 at the Miriam College, Quezon City.

The Conference aims to promote creativity in art, understanding of its Asian
culture, character and identity and learning new technologies in art education for
teaching and research.

The target participants to this activity are art educators, artists and policy
makers from Asia and the Pacific.

Participation of both public and private schools shall be subject to the no-
disruption-of-classes policy as stipulated in DepEd Order No. 9, s. 2005 entitled
Instituting Measures to Increase Engaged Time-on-Task and Ensuring Compliance
Therewith.
